Fair Collection named one of Norway’s fastest-growing companies
16 October 2026
Fair Collection has once again been recognized as a DN Gazelle company. With revenue of NOK 138 million and growth of 273.56 percent over the past three years, the company has earned a place among Norway's fastest-growing businesses.
This marks the second time Fair Collection has received the distinction, following its first recognition in 2024.
The concept of gazelle companies originated in the United States, where economist David Birch used the term to describe rapidly growing businesses. The concept was later adopted by leading Nordic business publications, including Sweden's Dagens Industri, Denmark's Børsen and Norway's Dagens Næringsliv.
Since 2003, Dagens Næringsliv (DN), one of Norway's leading business newspapers, has annually recognized the country's fastest-growing companies through its DN Gazelle awards. To qualify, companies must meet strict criteria for revenue growth, profitability and financial performance.
– We are proud to be recognized as a DN Gazelle company once again in 2026. This recognition reflects the work we have put in over several years and demonstrates that growth and profitability can go hand in hand with a responsible and human approach to debt collection. Behind these results are our dedicated employees, who work every day to deliver good solutions for our clients. This is a team achievement that motivates us to keep moving forward, says Siri Jensen, Managing Director of Fair Collection.
2x Gazelle
When Fair Collection first received the DN Gazelle distinction in 2024, the company reported revenue of NOK 54 million and growth of 254.50 percent.
Two years later, revenue reached NOK 138 million.
Since its establishment in 2018, Fair Collection has sought to challenge traditional practices in the debt collection industry by introducing a fairer and more human approach to debt recovery.
The company has focused on transparent communication, ethical practices and finding solutions that work for both creditors and individuals facing payment difficulties.
At the same time, the company has invested in technology and digital solutions to streamline processes and make payment follow-up easier for both businesses and individuals. In recent years, Fair Collection has focused on the further development of its payment solution, FairPay, as well as acquiring an in-house platform that manages the debt collection process, from payment reminders to legal collection and ongoing follow-up. Through its in-house developed platform Fair24, the company also manages the distribution of invoices, documents and debt collection communications.
By owning and developing its technology in-house, Fair has greater control over its systems and the flexibility to adapt its solutions as the business grows.
The latest DN Gazelle recognition marks another milestone in Fair Collection's development, eight years after the company was established.
